December at The Railway Club

Post dateDecember 21st, 2009 by admin | 2 Comments »

First and foremost we want to thank everyone for bearing the cold weather on Thursday the 17th to see us perform at The Railway Club. It was a strong bill that night, and we were fortunate to have played amongst some other great musicians. The Railway Club is one of those venues that is a must-play on any local artists list, so it was a great pleasure to have been on a stage that once welcomed acts like Radiohead. But as we progress, and as our must transcends, we hope to branch into larger locations that can facilitate the epic sound that is Darker The Sky. The guys and myself worked tirelessly for The Railway Club show, so we hope everyone could sense that dedication. We are on the fringe of a new decade, and 2010 will be our year, the year everyone will remember as our big break. We hope to have merchandise on the site, as well as videos, in the near future so please bookmark our site or join the mailing list. We hope to go on tour, and extend our music outside of the local scene. We hope you are all onboard, because it wouldn’t be the same without the people that were there with us from our humble beginnings.

All my love,

Robin Younge

Post Bourbon Show

Post dateSeptember 29th, 2009 by admin | 6 Comments »

We had an amazing show Saturday night! Thank you so much to everyone who made it out to support us, we couldn’t be any more appreciative. The show was by far our best one yet, so hopefully the next gig is even better. Thanks to all the people who have stopped by the site so far. Getting it online in time for the show meant a bit of panic, so the obvious glitches came up like any site freshly launched. Most have been fixed, while the testing in Internet Explorer 6 still commences, so bear with us (seriously, upgrade if you use this browser). Please take the time to read and comment on our blog as it is very important for our fans to voice themselves. Until the next show…
All my love,
Robin Younge

Our new site launches

Post dateSeptember 26th, 2009 by admin | 4 Comments »

Thanks so much for coming by our new site. We’ve dearly appreciated all of the love and support that has guided us to where we are today. It’s been a long, arduous journey, and we our happy to finally share it with you. Tonight’s show at the Bourbon is new for us in a couple of ways. Firstly, the show is being represented under IMU productions whom have done great legwork to get us the gig. Secondly, we have a new member, Joe McCance, joining the band with his amazing bass talents. It’s been great to have another member join so effortlessly. We know it’s going to be a successful show alongside The Saints Collapse and Brompton Distress Call, making for some great set lists.
This is only scratching the surface of what’s still to come from Darker The Sky, and we hope all of you will be right there with us. Again, we’d like to thank all our friends and family for your undying support. We honestly would not have made it this far otherwise.
Hope to see you all at our next show!

All my love,
Robin Younge
